dust.resin.water is shaping up-no pun intended-with most of the principal production-interviews and b-roll complete with the exception of two (possible) additional late additions to the shaping talent pool that has offered views, insight and banter in dust.resin.water

Chad from Timeless Surf Company is building a beautiful wooden surfboard. This boards evolution will be featured in dust.resin.water.

It will also be raffled off as a fundraiser for the Cocoa Beach chapter of the Surfrider Foundation during the 2012 Waterman’s Challenge in Cocoa Beach, FL which benefits the Cocoa Beach Surf Museum

Dust.Resin.Water or finishing a long shelved project

Ok, so now that I have no day-job, I realized that the time is now, or, now is the time, to finish a couple of long ago shelved and unfinished short films.

Hopefully Dust.Resin.Water. a documentary on surfboard design and shaping will be finished by January,

The other one, Skunk Ape, a mockumentary on Florida’s version of bigfoot is missing a few interviews with yet to be found or invented characters (both literal and figuratively speaking). So, if you feel you have a story to tell or make up on the spot, let me know

Mr Mom in da house

Well, this week has been my first week as a stay-at-home dad. It has been AWESOME. Did i yell? Or just say (type) that with extreme enthusiasm and joy? I am bummed that mama can’t hang with us as well, but, until the Power Ball gods grace us with those magic numbers (or another round of Kennedy Space Center layoffs occur) that can’t be. My job didnt actually go away per se. I was faced, due to reduction in workforce (who invented that catchy yet blame escaping condescending catchphrase anyway?) and that always tricky union seniority with being transferred into another workgroup-one that was not remotely, yet somehow contractually, related to my profession. From pulling focus so to speak to pulling cables ina manhole is a big switch.

So mama took one for the team and headed back to work-at the same rocket ranch I just left no less and now I am Mr Mom. Anyway it has been so much fun plus nap time offers me the chance to finish several video projects that either need updating or a jummp start to get rolling.

Making a little progress on the new look to BrownBus Productions. BrownBus Productions is a partner with Cryder Photography. which is my wife’s website. She is a photographer specializing in maternity, newborn and family photography set in natural lighting. Check out her website, it is also undergoing a major revision.
